ALFRED HITCHCOCK
In 1963 Alfred Hitchcock once said in an interview, “I’m frightened of my own movies. I never go to see them. I don’t know how people can bear to watch my movies.”
Can you imagine a director who's afraid of his own movies? Well, I guess it just goes to show, if you wanna scare anyone you have to first scare yourself.

2. He loved to play cruel practical jokes
Thats right! Who knew the "Master of Suspense" himself was a jokester. But this wasn't your usual gag. He took his jokes to the extreme. He often found out other peoples phobias and turn it to a laugh at his own expense. Some of the jokes he took to FAR. (read about it in the second link below)

3. He was afraid of eggs
Yes you read that correct, he was afraid of eggs. He had Ovaphobia.
Alfred Hitchcock once said, “I’m frightened of eggs, worse than frightened, they revolt me. That white round thing without any holes … have you ever seen anything more revolting than an egg yolk breaking and spilling its yellow liquid? Blood is jolly, red. But egg yolk is yellow, revolting. I’ve never tasted it.”
